Fixed funding and design plans will not be implemented unless the Bonding Authority is approved in Tuesday’s election. Should that happen, Stewart said, the project could be funded through a series of bonds – the total value cannot exceed $ 70 million.

Elsewhere on the ballot, Eastern Cooke County voters will decide whether the Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department can establish a tax district to fund their operations. The district ambulance service is not affected by the vote.
