Golf: Gainesville’s Hudson Justus wins the U10 division of the Nick Faldo Hurricane Finals

Hudson Justus of Gainesville adds to his impressive résumé in junior golf.

On Tuesday, the Mount Vernon Elementary Student shot a total of 1 over par in two rounds to take the first overall victory in the Under-10 class of the Nick Faldo Hurricane Grand Final in Myrtle Beach, SC

Jupiter carded one last round with a straight par 72 after shooting the Barefoot Resort Love Course 73 on round 1.

Jupiter won in a field of players from across the country, two shots ahead of his closest competitor.

The Faldo Hurricane Series is named after Sir Nick Faldo, the three-time Masters Champion and six-time Major winner.

In 2021 Justus also won titles at the Future Masters in Dothan, Alabama and the US Kids World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
