Preparations for the Cape Coral Oktoberfest begin

CAPE CORAL, Florida – The 36th Oktoberfest returns to Cape Coral.

The German-American Social Club is hosting the two-week event. It runs from October 22nd to 24th and October 29th to 31st.

This year the organizers are offering a discount on carpooling. Participants can save $ 5 on an Uber or Lyft with a QR code.

Cape Coral Police recommend using the code to avoid drunk driving. They say officials will arrest and / or fined anyone who breaks the law.

Shuttle buses will also run continuous routes from 1448 Ceitus Terrace to the event.
