Groundbreaking ceremony for the Church’s new home in Miami | KSNF / KODE

MIAMI, okay. – Making a dream come true can take a lot of work, and it has been 30 years of hard work for one church.

“We had that dream of building this facility in our hearts for 30 years, and it is becoming a reality today,” said Gordon Chirillo, founder of Pacesetter Church.

The dream began in 1991 when Chirillo was driving out to lunch with his wife.

“I remember it so well because we came to this place in this pasture and I had seen these cows, but I had also seen, I looked over there and I had seen a church building that was in the middle of the pasture, and me said “Wow, one day we’re going to build a church there,” says Chirillo

The new location has been a long time coming for the community, so far it has had no permanent home.

Terry Wright, Pacesetter Church Sr. Pastor, says, “We were on 1st and C in Miami, we were in a five story building in Miami and we are waiting in a shop for our building to be completed. ”

The $ 3 million project is designed to help the Church provide resources to those in need in Ottawa County.

Gordon Chirillo says, “A place where service can come that needs to be restored. We’re going to build a house for them, we’re going to build a house for children. “

Terry Wright says, “We actually dream of building a home for children whose parents are either in trouble or currently unable to keep them and we want to accommodate them.”… “We want to help” give them an education and to satisfy their needs in such a way that they have a good start in life. “

After the groundbreaking, Crossland hopes to finish this new home in July or August next year.
“Our dream is as big as the 80 acres we’re standing on,” says Terry Wright.

“Thank the Lord for being 77 years old and still here and young and making my dream that I saw 30 years ago come true,” says Gordon Chirillo.
