Gainesville Police are investigating two separate attacks on women within 3 hours

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Gainesville police are investigating two separate attacks on women who were transcribed Friday morning.

Gainesville Police Department reported that shortly after midnight, a woman was attacked and put in a vehicle near 2300 SW 23rd Terrace. The kidnapper threatened to rape and kill her, but she escaped.

The suspect is described as a six-foot tall black man with thin stature and curly hair.

At around 3:30 a.m., a woman who walked into her apartment in the Gainesville Place Apartments was forced into the woods by a man and then raped. The suspect is described as six feet tall with dreadlocks.
