
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The Tampa Power Home Remodeling staff showed up for a purpose kickball Sunday.
The group hosted a tournament as part of the company’s annual fundraiser for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for various forms of childhood cancer.

“We have a local boy who has cancer and to meet and see her we get a sense of why raising money is so important,” Mike McEvoy told 8 On Your Side.
This year’s event took place in Gadsden Park.
So far this year the group has raised $ 935,000.
