Register for the Sealine Cleanup Set 2021 for September 18th

Lispeth Ann Abbott (left), Wren L'Heureux and Gabby Valdes collect trash on Lake Jackson as part of a previous Keep Tallahassee Beautiful coastal cleaning event.

Keep Tallahassee Beautiful will be running the 2021 Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is recruiting volunteers.

Gather your friends, family, classmates, teammates, and coworkers for the Adopt-A-Shore event to freshen up the lakes and ponds in the area.

A long list of attractions includes Cascades Park Lake, Chapman Pond, Lake Ella, Faulk Landing, Lake Lafayette, Lake Munson, Miller Landing, Stoneler Road Park, and many more. For a full list, visit keeptallahasseeleoncountybeautiful.com.

Some of the lakes are occupied so contact Keep Tallahassee Beautiful with your choice so the volunteers can be distributed to as many locations as possible. Boaters can use kayaks and go this route to pick up rubbish. All ways of help are welcome.

Meet at the front parking lot at Lake Ella on Monroe Street on September 18 between 7:30 am and 9:00 am.
