Ex-President Donald Trump in Naples for an exclusive Christmas event

Former President Donald Trump is in town for a VIP Christmas event in Naples, but exclusive attendees pay a heavy price.

Known for huge rallies, the former President Trump planned a low-key night in Naples.

Naples Winter Christmas is an exclusive event. 90 people maximum. Each of them pays between $ 10,000 and $ 30,000. No cameras allowed.

Frank Schwerin, chairman of the Collier County’s Republican Executive Committee, said, “Many candidates come and go. They come to Naples, don’t tell us they’re here, and leave with lots of dollars in their pockets. “

Schwerin received no advance warning that Trump would come, nor did he receive an invitation.

He is not alone. Southwest Florida GOP leaders told WINK News that they heard about the event either from us or on social media.

“If you want to raise a lot of money, you want the people who go to the event to make themselves very special,” said Schwerin.

WINK News tried to speak to the man behind the event but got no response, but organizer Brad Keltner told the New York Daily News that Trump will receive some of the money raised, but most of the money will go to charity.

The event organizers didn’t say they would donate the money.

Schwerin said, “It’s for a good cause, so I don’t think there’s a political connection, but you might find out differently. I do not know.”
