Tallahassee firefighters respond to an electrical fire on Keith Street

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee Fire Department responded to an electrical fire in Block 1600 of Keith St.

TFD arrived at the scene around 5:25 a.m. and found the fire in an inner wall of the apartment building, the press release said.

“An inside attack was carried out and the fire was quickly extinguished,” the statement said.

No casualties were reported in the fire and the American Red Cross was called in to help residents.

According to TFD, the cause of the fire was electrical, causing about $ 10,000 in damage.
