We’re grateful for many things this year – including the plethora of local favorite restaurants that are keeping their doors open and having our bellies full on this Thanksgiving holiday. Throughout southwest Florida, chefs present their take on the celebration with Italian-themed menus at Angelina’s in Bonita Springs and The French in Naples; seafood-filled spreads at Tarpon Bay Lodge in Bokeelia and The Claw Bar in Naples; and five-star dinners at elegant venues such as The Ritz-Carlton, Naples and The Silver King Ocean Brasserie in Fort Myers. For those who want to keep tradition close to home, many of these fine eateries also offer full delicacies to take away.

Angelina’s Ristorante, Bonita Springs

If you’re flexible with your plans, put yourself on the waiting list for this bonita institution, where you can enjoy a four-course meal of Italian favorites like snapper piccata and veal saltimbocca. Trust us, it will be worth it. Alternatively to take away The Thanksgiving dinner serves six to nine people and includes a pair of wines hand-picked by the restaurant’s sommelier, Dinah Leach, to go with your meal. Whether you choose to eat or take away, book quickly. $ 79 per person, $ 39 for optional wine pairing; $ 379 for a takeaway dinner party.

Bar Tulia Mercato, Naples

The bar Tulia takes on the vacation with its typical upscale gastropub flair. The three-course feast at the new Mercato location includes appetizers such as chestnut-filled turkey, wood-grilled New York steak fries, and butternut squash risotto. For a Thanksgiving feast prepared by one of the best chefs in town, Vincenzo Betulia’s Bistro gives American tradition a European, rustic touch. In the restaurant, the chef serves a special menu with upscale seasonal dishes Delicacies such as duck confit and burgundy risotto with black truffle. Guests who prefer to party at home can order the same special menu or enjoy the more traditional turkey dinner that the restaurant also offers. Order by November 18th for pickup or delivery on November 25th. From $ 65 for adults, $ 32 for children.

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, Bonita Springs

Avoid the headache of trying to please everyone at the Thanksgiving table with the Hyatt Regency’s custom vacation concept. The on-site restaurant, Tarpon Bay, has its regular seafood menu like lemon-parmesan-crusted salmon, there’s also a fixed-price menu for traditionalists with turkey and green beans, and a kid’s menu for picky eaters with chicken nuggets and macs and cheese. Reservations required; Menu available from 5pm to 10pm; from US $ 100 for adults and US $ 45 for children on the fixed-price menu.

Marker 92 Waterfront Bar & Bistro, Cape Coral

Take in views of the gulf at the waterfront Westin Restaurant in Tarpon Point Marina while you dine on a festive buffet of butternut squash pie and cider-salted turkey. Thanksgiving meals are served from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. So whether you come early or late, we encourage you to linger and fully appreciate the surroundings. From $ 79 for adults, $ 29 for children, free for children 5 and under.

Naples Grande Beach Resort

The gift giving season wouldn’t be like this without a philanthropic touch. Treat yourself to a feast for eight that includes a 20-22 pound turkey; Filling with apricot, sage and chicken; and other vacation favorites like sweet rolls and mashed potatoes. To the For every order purchased, the hotel will donate one turkey to St. Matthew’s House. Place your order by November 21st for collection on November 25th.

For the dining experience of the resort, enjoy a traditional meal of sage and garlic butter, roasted turkey and brioche and chive dressing soufflé in the Vista Ballroom from 12:00 to 20:00. From $ 80 per person, $ 40 per child, $ 299 for take away option.

If you’re a member of the Del Webb-designed Panther Run Golf Club and would rather spend your day on the course, make reservations for an after-game vacation by November 23rd Eating in the in-house restaurant. On Thanksgiving Day, enjoy a traditional meal of roast turkey, and green bean stuffing. Stop for an early dinner (no longer serving at 6:00 PM) before heading upstairs to the Beacon Social Drinkery to say thank you with a sunset view of the Caloosahatchee River. Menu available from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. from $ 39 per person.

Tarpon Lodge, Bokeelia

Another waiting list worth adding your name to (the GM promises seats are often opened at the last minute): This charming waterfront inn on Pine Island, built in 1926, has a serving of Old Florida with its a- Thanksgiving la carte menu, popular seafood dishes with festive updates, like salmon with brown sugar and spiced pumpkin cheesecake. Reservations are required for the menu, which is available from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. $ 9.95 for kids, $ 14 for a kids turkey plate.
