GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Two Gainesville men and a teenager are behind bars after police alleged they robbed people at Depot Park at gunpoint.
Gainesville police officers said Tases Mills, 20, and Madrek Nobles, 20, were accused of stealing car keys and cell phones from two women who were walking in Depot Park on Friday night.
Police also say the three people stole the car they had the keys to and were later found by Alachua police on I-75 near Alachua, with Nobles staying in the car and Mills, the driver , fled on foot.
Both Mills and Nobles are charged with armed robbery and large-scale car theft.
The minor’s indictment and identity will not be published.
