MOSCOW, June 23 / TASS /. The St. Petersburg Stock Exchange sees an opportunity to start five-day trading for 21 hours a day, said NP RTS president, majority shareholder of the exchange, Roman Goryunov on Wednesday.
The exchange currently trades from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Moscow time. The platform is considering an option to start trading at 5 a.m., Goryunov said.
The St. Petersburg Stock Exchange is the largest platform for organized trading in the securities of international companies in Russia. Over 1,600 securities from foreign issuers, including stocks, depositary receipts and Eurobonds, are currently circulating in organized trading on the stock exchange.
