CAPE CORAL, Florida – The city of Cape Coral will resume water closures early next month.
The barriers were originally suspended during the pandemic when many people were not working. The shutdowns will affect anyone who has not entered into payment arrangements and has a water bill balance that is more than 60 days past due.
The lockdowns will resume on July 6th.
There are several utility utilities that you can use to settle your outstanding amounts:
Customers at risk of their water being turned off will be notified by phone, email and a hand-delivered red tag. Electricity bills were also distributed to inform customers that water closings will resume on July 6th.
