GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A Gainesville man is found in the Alachua County Jail after drawing a gun and threatening his brother.

Gainesville Police Department reported that 49-year-old James Ousley and his brother were fighting in the 1615 NE 16th Street area of ​​Gainesville when Ousley pulled a gun from his backpack.

The victim said Ousley recently waved a gun to another relative and Ousley said he could “do the same to him”.

Officials say when they arrived Ousley fled into the woods and was later caught.

Ousley is charged with aggravated assault.
