HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Bush Gardens Tampa Bay follows the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and recommends that guests wear masks indoors.
“The safety of our guests, ambassadors and animals in our care remains our top priority. In accordance with CDC guidelines, we encourage our guests to wear face covering indoors, “the theme park wrote in a statement to 10 Tampa Bay.
According to the latest update, guests are not required to mask themselves, but it is recommended that guests and staff members be worn in designated indoor spaces regardless of the vaccination status of guests and staff.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay visitors are not required to provide proof of vaccination. Earlier this month, the theme park shut down its reservation system as it was switched to full capacity.
Other Florida theme parks are taking similar or stronger measures as COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the state.
Walt Disney World requires guests ages two and up to mask themselves indoors and on park-associated transportation, regardless of vaccination status. Starting Saturday, Universal Orlando will be bringing back its mask requirement for employees during their shift.
