MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – Whenever it rains, like on Monday, there is major flooding in Miami Beach and along the coast.
Several inches of stagnant water have been seen near South Beach and further north in Surfside, where salvage work is underway at the Champlain Towers South collapse site.
The driving rain and gusty winds were constant throughout South Florida all morning.
Several shops along the beach had to close due to flooding.
Cars and buses splashed through the flooded streets while pumps did their best to push the water out of the area.
Unfortunately, this is nothing new when it rains a lot, but it still worries many.
