Madden 22 is set to be released next month, and as with any new release, EA publishes annual player ratings. The first of these rankings was released today and focused on prominent offensive newbies.
As you probably expected, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was rated 78 overall. That makes him one of the highest rated rookie QBs in Madden history.
Kyle Pitts, the Atlanta Falcons’ groundbreaking tight end, was rated 81 overall.
The question everyone is talking about now is what rated Miami Dolphins rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle compared to the draft’s top prospects. Well, as you can see below, he’s the highest rated rookie WR in Madden 22 AND the third highest offensive rookie in the game.
What does it all mean? Not much unless you’re playing Madden, TBH.
Of course it’s nice to see this team finally getting some recognition, especially a young promising rookie with many other talented wide receivers in this class. And when you’re playing Madden, using Jaylen Waddle is really going to feel like a video game. Because every time he touches the soccer ball, something explosive could happen. Jaylen Waddle is getting aged in this year’s game and I can’t wait!
But again, unless you’re playing Madden 22, that probably doesn’t matter that much to you.
That is why I decided to record this great video that was posted today by our good friends on Pro Football Network. Jaylen Waddle looks quick and if my eyes are not mistaken he has NO noticeable limp.
