Tallahassee Police are investigating the Frenchtown shooting

Tallahassee Police are investigating a shooting in Frenchtown that “seriously injured” a man on Friday afternoon.

The shots were fired outside on the 800 block of Central Street, but it wasn’t a drive past, TPD spokeswoman Alicia Turner said.

The injured man was taken to a local hospital, she added. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

The police cleared the scene around 6:30 p.m.

That shootout comes the day after a man died from gunshot wounds he sustained in a gunfight on Tuesday.
