'CBS Sunday Morning' visits St. Petersburg bank therapists

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida – Seven years ago, Al Nixon began visiting the city’s waterfront to clear his head.

But lately he’s been helping others get something off their chest.

There were many people, sometimes so many that there is a line. He just listens. “He doesn’t judge,” said Bernadette Dorset-Mills, who added that she has never met a wiser man.

“Listening is the most important skill that humankind needs to be very good at,” he said to Steve Hartman of CBS.
