MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Beach Police are investigating a possible Saturday afternoon shooting on Collins Avenue.
Miami Beach police tweeted that they were on Collins Avenue in 1920 after receiving a “possible shootout” call.

Police said they found a person with an apparent gunshot wound.

A later police tweet said the victim was struck by a bullet, refused to get medical attention and was not cooperating with authorities.
Collins Avenue was temporarily closed between 18-20 streets.
