MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) – Police are looking for a missing 5-year-old girl from Miami Beach.

The search for 5-year-old Leah-Ranee Rose Lassiter is ongoing. Police said she could be with her mother, 28-year-old Chantel Iman Dortch.

Leah-Ranee was last seen with her mother, according to police. However, officials said Dortch has since refused to return the girl to her father, in violation of a court custody order.

Officials said the couple was last seen in a four-door black Audi A4 with a temporary label reading DAG5401. The day expired on September 21, 2021.

Anyone with information on the couple’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Miami Beach Police Department at 305-673-7900.
