FSU DE signs Trevion Williams on their recent visit to Tallahassee

It wasn’t long before Rivals250 stood out and the State of Florida signed Trevion Williams to find his way back to FSU.

This was Williams’ first visit since announcing his commitment to the Seminoles, and the Mississippi product was again accompanied by his family for the multi-day visit.

As he put things together on Monday afternoon, Williams discussed his upcoming plans, why he is so associated with the Seminoles, the highlights of the trip, and more.

“It was really about chilling out and seeing everything that I didn’t see [before]Said Williams. “As if I’ve forgotten what it’s called, but it’s a building that only houses the best of recruits. It was a blessing to go in there to see what they had built. Guess it was set up a week ago. It’s a building that has a whole lot of stuff with FSU’s history. It had a big screen and a big spear, and the whole thing lights up with a highlight film. It was crazy. “

That visit also provided Williams and his family with an opportunity to spend more time with the coaches and staff who were key figures in his recruitment process, including head coach Mike Norvell, defensive end coach John Papuchis, and high school relations director Ryan Bartow.

“It was cool, but different,” said the four-star defensive end. “This time just relaxed and just going through everything, just chilling out on campus and seeing how everyone is doing.”

On Sunday, the Rivals250 member had the opportunity to attend the Seminole Showcase recruiting event, where some of the top prospects – and even FSU employees like Travis Hunter, Brian Courtney and Sam McCall – put on a show.

Hunter particularly seemed to get the attention of Williams, who didn’t work this time.

“It was pretty good. I saw some good talent on the defensive and offensive,” said Williams. “Of course Travis, he is the highlight of everything. The way he is and his athletic abilities.”

Williams said he also did his best recruiting pitch with several other prospects.

“Come and join the family so we can be great and Tallahassee can be great again,” said the defensive ending.

The big question on that visit was how firm is Williams in his engagement with several other schools that are still trying to make a push. And the four-star perspective has dispelled all concerns.

“I’m 1,000 percent – 1,000,” said Williams. “I just like the family atmosphere and how real the coaches are and Coach Norvell, his energy. And like Coach Odell [Haggins], Coach JP, and I like everything about them. I can’t wait to come here and be part of the team. “

Williams plans to visit the state of Mississippi on July 30th and he said Ole Miss is still working to get his attention. But he said there was no chance of a flip.

“No, I’m 1000 percent Florida State,” said Williams.

The Mississippi Product added that he will be back for the Notre Dame game on September 5th.

“I’m just ready to see how it gets lively and the stadium is full and hopefully a W,” said Williams.
