Spending the day in public with your dog shouldn’t be difficult.

Fortunately, several businesses in Hall County have outdoor patios and spaces so your best friend never has to leave your side. Consider these eight places to have a drink or meal alongside your favorite pup.

Downtown designs

Located in the heart of Gainesville, Downtown Drafts is a casual place for you and your pup to kick back and relax. Choose from a wide variety of craft beer and alcoholic beverages, and let your dog cool off with a water bowl or dog-only ice cream.

Hours of Operation: 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday-Thursday; Friday and Saturday 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm; 12 noon to 8 p.m. Sunday

2 dog

Staying true to its name, 2 Dog invites dog owners to sit outside and enjoy a meal next to their pup. The restaurant has outdoor tables with umbrellas and water bowls for dogs. The local favorite has a range of lunch options including salads, sandwiches, pastas, burgers, and more.

Pig stories

Braselton Brewing Co.

Braselton Brewing Co. is a pet friendly establishment with an outdoor patio. The brewpub has bowls of water ready and will soon be bringing out a dog treat menu. For the two-legged friends, the shop offers a large craft beer and wine menu, as well as a selection of home-style meals.
