United and American airlines will offer nonstop flights to Ft. Myers and Cancun from Indianapolis International Airport this week.
INDIANAPOLIS – Travelers looking for a sunny getaway now have two more options from Indianapolis International Airport.
United Airlines launches a daily non-stop flight from Indianapolis to Ft. Myers, Florida on Thursday, December 17 at 11:45 a.m. ET.
The United Airlines flight joins Southwest and Spirit as the only non-stop option from Indianapolis to Ft. Myers.
American Airlines will begin its nonstop flight from Indianapolis to Cancun, Mexico, on Saturday, December 19 at 11:19 am ET. The new route departs from Indianapolis every Saturday.
The American Airlines flight joins Frontier and Southwest airlines as the only non-stop option from Indianapolis to Cancun.

Last month, Airports Council International certified Indianapolis International Airport with its Airport Health Accreditation, which assesses an airport’s compliance with new health measures and procedures, including cleaning and disinfection, physical distancing, personnel protection, physical arrangement, passenger communications, and passenger facilities.
Indianapolis International Airport was one of eight airports in the United States to be named during the COVID-19 pandemic.
