Tallahassee 15U Babe Ruth has her sights set on the Southeast Regional Tournament

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (WTXL) – The team from Tallahassee 15 and under Babe Ruth focused on the Southeast Regional Tournament last weekend after winning their state title last weekend. Hoping to stamp her ticket to the World Series. But before this team starts thinking about Eagle Pass, Texas. You have to take care of business in Greenville, North Carolina.

From the time they won the state championship to their first practice session in the capital on Monday, these guys pretty much balanced the whole experience. For a team that has only been playing together for a few weeks, they find that what they have achieved is very special. And more importantly, they all know that after playing like they did at Fort White, the sky’s the limit.

“I think they’re getting excited. They were a little excited about going to states. I think it stuck in a bit afterwards and hopefully they look forward to it, “said head coach Ryan Lewis. Hopefully we’ll see that in practice today.”

“It was fun. We just clicked as a team. We’ve only been together for a few weeks,” added infielder Kyler Thorp. “So we already have a brotherhood and I think that helped us.”

Tallahassee will take to the streets for Greenville on Monday.
