Like Airbnb, but for pools, Swimmy connects swimmers and sunbathers with pool rentals in the area.

Guests can enjoy a great day by the pool while the pool owners earn extra cash to finance their vacation or to cover the cost of maintaining their pool.

“While your kids are at camp or you’re on the beach, your pool could bring you some cash,” says Swimmy spokeswoman Isobella Harkrider. “Pool sharing appeals to local guests looking for a ‘mini vacation’ or an alternative to a birthday party, special event, girls’ day, game date, graduation party, and more. The average cost to rent a pool from Swimmy is $ 25 to $ 50 per person per session. The app charges a commission of 30.83% on the total amount paid to the pool host. The guest pays 20% of the commission. The host pays 17%.
