LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) – A Tallahassee woman is dead and two more injured after they were involved in a crash in Leon County Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Capitola Road west of Misty Blue Lane, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
A car drove east as they crossed into the west lanes and drove against the traffic. Another car approached them in the west lane and could not swerve to avoid an accident.
The car, veering into the opposite lane, collided head-on with the other car, causing both cars to spin before coming to a stop.
The driver of the car that came into oncoming traffic was killed in the crash, the other two injured were only slightly injured.
