The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic accident in East Naples after a young girl was injured in an accident.
On August 22nd, I confirmed to the family of 16-year-old Kimberly Janilla, who died in hospital on Friday, that she was hit by a car while cycling in the United States.
He also learned that an investigator identified the driver and arrested the affected vehicle on Friday, but his name was not disclosed and he was not arrested. The driver is considered an interested person.

According to the FHP crash report, soldiers responded to the US-41 crash site near Pineland Avenue.
Investigators say a 40-year-old man driving a four-door Kia is driving west on US-41 in the center lane and Kimberly is cycling south on Pineland Avenue. I approached Pineland Avenue. She tried to cross the US-41 movement. Lane to the mall near US-41.
The front of Kia hit Kimberly and she tumbled down the street. She was rushed to NCH Hospital to treat a serious injury and then transferred to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Broward County, where she died Friday.
According to investigators, the Kia driver did not stop to help Kimberly, left the crash site and drove west on US-41.
