The Miami Dolphins cut off wide receiver Robert Foster, according to a report by Texan Beat reporter Aaron Wilson.

According to Wilson, Foster was released from the team’s injury reserve after reaching an injury agreement. On August 24, he was abandoned with an injury designation but was transferred to the Dolphins’ IR after he was not claimed by the other 31 NFL teams on the Waiver Wire.

A former wide receiver in Alabama, Foster made 35 catches for 389 yards and 3 touchdowns while on the Crimson Tide. He signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and had a strong rookie season with 27 catches for 541 yards and 3 touchdowns.

In 2020 it was re-signed by the Bills, but ended up shortened. He then spent time on the training teams of the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Football Team. Foster then signed with the Dolphins in May before being placed on the Injured / Injured list.

After Foster reaches an agreement on an injury, he is free to sign with another NFL team.
