Mayor John Dailey seeks nominations for new Tallahassee Awards

Mayor John Daily welcomes friends and families to Tom Brown Park for the annual 4th of July celebration hosted by the City of Tallahassee on Sunday 4th July 2021.

The Tallahassee Awards are a new series of awards from Mayor John Dailey’s office designed to enable residents to highlight their friends and neighbors who are making a difference in the Tallahassee community.

The aim of the awards is to celebrate and share the stories of citizens who do more each day to serve others and make Tallahassee what it is.

Friends enjoy an evening at Tom Brown Park as they celebrate July 4th.

“We have been named one of the top communities in the country to live, work and play – an All American City and a Top 10 South City,” said Mayor John Dailey. “But we also know that our secret sauce is the people who live here in Tallahassee, and I want to help tell their stories.”

Nominations will be accepted until August 31 at talgov.com/TallahasseeAwards. The recipients will be recognized in September.
