FRISCO, TX (Silver Star Nation) – The NFL preseason has officially ended.
It’s been a winless preseason for the Dallas Cowboys, but the team leadership feels they’re taking a good look at the younger players as the final squad cuts are due on Tuesday afternoon.
Coach Mike McCarthy said he didn’t see his initial offensive play together during the 2021 NFL training camp due to quarterback Dak Prescott’s injury, but he believes the team will be ready to play against Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay on September 9th Buccaneer .
During his daily briefing with the media…. McCarthy said that the first game is always one of the most important games of the year as it sets expectations for the regular season.
The team must reach their 53-man roster by 3 p.m. CDT Tuesday.
