Running a nonprofit, let alone innovating new ideas, is a big job. Mastering this balance between sustainability and change is why these 30 leading nonprofit CEO power influencers need to be recognized and honored.
Each of the influencers has been identified and endorsed by peers as a top performer and community builder who performs their duties with integrity and honesty and who has a significant impact in Southwest Florida.
With a proven track record in the nonprofit sector, these exceptional top performers dedicate their time, talent, and treasure to leading transformative change to enrich the community. This honor was launched by the South Florida CEO Network, a Community Foundation initiative, and the Nonprofit Education Grantmaking Fund as part of a larger vision of recognizing, recognizing, and nurturing a culture of regional generosity among nonprofit leaders.

The non-profit executives highlighted here have distinguished themselves as initiators, innovators and executives. An important standard to be selected is that the award winner must be a day-to-day executive. In many cases that year was 24/7/365 day in and day out and it was still going.
The 2021 award winners were selected from a group of around 200 top executives. Surveys were sent to corporate and community leaders to determine who should be on the list this year. This is not a lifetime achievement award. The executives must have had influence in the past 12 months. Each award winner will receive a special recognition award featured in media releases and news agencies, and will attend a private VIP reception sponsored by Regions Bank.
