Friends and family gather with a heavy heart to remember the life of Kerry McCutchen, 57, who was killed in a robbery in Miami Gardens last Friday morning.
“My uncle’s name was Kerry McCutchen, but he was known as ‘Uncle Papa’. He was very sweet, loving, the life of the party, “said the man’s niece, Quatasha Davis.
The man’s family say he was walking home near the intersection of NW 183rd Street and 32nd Avenue in Miami Gardens when he was hit by a driver.
According to the police, the driver never stopped.
McCuthen’s family can’t understand how anyone could hit him and move on.
The authorities are now seeking help from the community to find the driver of this black Mercedes-Benz that has dark windows and damage to the driver’s bumper and front.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Miami Gardens Police Department at 305-474-1617.
