TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The organizers of The Plant, a nonprofit in Tallahassee, made sure everyone had a place to celebrate Thanksgiving this year. They held their annual Christmas dinner share and invited the congregation to stop by to enjoy the feast.
Nonprofit owner Paul Rutkovsky said: “This is part of a relatively long history for The Plant of providing food to those who either cannot afford it or who cannot live in the neighborhood.”
Rutkovsky added that there are so many people in need of help and The Plant wants to play a role in meeting that need.
The organization also gives away free clothing and food all year round.
