The Greater Miami Symphonic Band presents 2 free Christmas concerts

The Greater Miami Symphonic Band is offering two free holiday concerts to the public in December to recognize the community’s continued support and dedication to the band, particularly during the hiatus imposed by the pandemic.

The first Christmas concert will take place on December 12th at 4pm at Pinecrest Gardens, Banyan Bowl, 11000 SW 57 Ave. in Pinecrest, and will be a live concert in the Banyan Bowl’s open-air amphitheater (masks are required from the venue). This family holiday concert features Susie Blank Wolfe, vocal soloist, and a family to sing along to. Reservations are required. Contact the band at 305-273 7687.

The second Christmas concert will take place on December 14th at 8 p.m. in the Gusman Concert Hall, UM Campus, and is only available via live online streaming via Frost Music Live at https://frost-music-live.miami.edu. This Christmas concert features Daisy Su (singer) and the Greater Miami Voices. For more information, contact the band’s hotline at 305-273-7687. The Gusman concert is partially sponsored by the City of Coral Gables.
