Live results for Buchholz, Hawthorne, Union County-Chiefland

It has been 13 weeks since the high school football season started on August 27th.

And every team that plays the day after Thanksgiving is part of a select group lucky enough and talented to play in the third round of the FHSAA soccer playoffs.

And this week, four Gainesville high school football programs have a regional championship at stake.

The Buchholz Bobcats must come through the Nease Panthers on Friday night after the Niceville Panthers (who eliminated Buchholz last season) beat 24-19 last Friday night.

Meanwhile, the Hawthorne Hornets will battle the Pahokee Blue Devils in a highly anticipated Class 1A matchup.

And finally, a local matchup between the Union County Fightin ‘Tigers and the Chiefland Indians rounds off the evening.
