Gratitude doesn’t wane after Thanksgiving – at least not for the Texas Roadhouse of Gainesville.
In addition to anonymous donors within the local community, the restaurant works with the LL Farm and Event Center to honor veterans and active military personnel with a “Day of Thanks”.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 13, Hall County’s troops and up to three of their immediate family members are invited to dinner courtesy of the Texas Roadhouse. The event is limited to 250 reservations, which can be booked online until December 6th.
Jackie Brown, Texas Roadhouse marketing coach, says Thank You Day includes the chain’s free lunch vouchers that will be given out to service members on Veterans Day.
“We can’t say yes to everyone, but how can you say no to our military?” Said Braun. “We plan to keep this momentum.”
Brown noted that the generosity of the Texas Roadhouse of Gainesville extended beyond the military community; During the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant donated food to local health workers for three days.
Individuals interested in contributing to Thank You Day with donations or games and activities for children can contact Brown at 803-466-4877 or jackie.brown@texasroadhouse.com.
