Thomas was destined to become a Seminole. During his senior year at Miami Central, Thomas was signed to the Seminoles once before finally choosing to sign with South Carolina.

After a solid career with the Gamecocks, Thomas entered the portal, but quickly made the decision to move closer to home and play his super senior season at FSU.

The second half of his 2021 season was great for Keir. During the Seminoles’ quest for bowl eligibility, Thomas collected 25 tackles and 5.5 sacks and combined him with his transfer mate Jermaine Johnson into one of the best defensive end tandems in the country.

On Sunday, Thomas reached out to Florida State and fans with a message on social media.
