More than 4,000 people without power after outages in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The city of Tallahassee says 4,350 customers lost power after reporting outages Tuesday afternoon.

City teams are working to get these customers back on track.

According to the city, the following areas are affected:

  • Walden
  • Bucksee
  • Avondale
  • Mahan
  • Summit lake
  • Hill N Dale
  • Miles Johnson
  • Chevy
  • Rutledge
  • Pedrick
  • Tung Hill
  • Thornton
  • Miccosukee
  • welcome
  • Argyle
  • Long & wrap
  • Edenfield
  • Buchholz
  • Wine country

The city published about the outage on its Twitter page at around 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Current information on electricity can be found on the city’s outage map.

Crews respond to power outages of which 4,350 customers are located near Walden, Buck Lake, Avondale, Mahan, Summit Lake, Hill N Dale, Miles Johnson, Chevy, Rutledge, Pedrick, Tung Hill, Thornton, Miccosukee, Welaunee, Argyle, Long & Winding, Edenfield are affecting, Buckwood, Vineland & the surrounding area.
