JACKSON, TENN. (WTXL) – Sunday will be considered one of the most famous days for Tallahassee Babe Ruth. If the 13-U team could win their Southeast regional title game in Jackson, Tennessee, it will be a clean blow for the capital at the regional championships this weekend. And a little magic at the end of the sixth inning proved to be the key to making all of this possible.
In a 3-1 win over Greenville, the Tallahassee 13U Empire State Bound. It is the first time in the history of Tallahassee Babe Ruth that all three All-Star teams have promoted to their respective World Series. Something that Head Coach Mike Harrison and his boys were more than proud to be a part of.
“The best of the best play Babe Ruth in Tallahassee. And so that all three of our boys make it, all three teams. Ryan (Lewis), Bruce (Williams) are so much fun. We went to the game yesterday and cheered our boys on, “Harrison told ABC 27.” Both 13 and 14 were in the same region. And our kids really relaxed because they had their friends with them. This morning we talked about how fun it would be to punch our ticket and complete the trifecta. “
And finish them. And prepare, the capital will be in every corner of the United States for the World Series. The 13Us go to Jamestown, New York, 14Us Ottumwa, Iowa, and 15Us Eagle Pass, Texas.
