A car that crashed from a ferry in Miami last year, killing a Harrison woman and her friend, never appeared to have been put in the park.

That comes from a review of the records released by the Miami-Dade police and received by News 12.

Viviane Brahms, 75, from Harrison, and a 63-year-old woman from Miami were in the Mercedes Benz when it rolled off the ferry and went down in a shipping canal between Miami Beach and Fisher Island.

An investigation found that the vehicle was not associated with any malfunctions.

The Miami-Dade County medical examiner found that the cause of death for both women was drowning, and each death was classified as an accident.
