MIAMI GARDENS, Florida. – The Miami Dolphins influenced more than 8,500 community members in South Florida by hosting and contributing to a series of Thanksgiving meals from Tuesday November 16 through Tuesday November 23. The team worked with the Miami Dolphins Foundation, Football UNITES community partners, minority-owned local restaurants, team partners, Miami Gardens churches, and dignitaries to feed those in need in the days leading up to the holiday.
“The Miami Dolphins are excited to make an impact in our community year round, especially during Thanksgiving,” said Jason Jenkins, senior vice president of communications and community affairs for the Miami Dolphins. “These meals unite our communities and we recognize the added need to support not only families but also local businesses during this time.”
“We are proud to work with the Miami Dolphins and Feeding South Florida to ensure thousands of families in South Florida fill their pantries and have a great Thanksgiving,” said Nathan Landsbaum, President and CEO of Sunshine Health. Sunshine Health’s Ambetter presented the Thanksgiving Meals at Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday, November 23rd.
