NAPLES, Florida – A 35-year-old man from Naples won a $ 1 million jackpot on a Florida Lottery scratch game before Thanksgiving.
Eric Bratt, 35, decided to claim his award as a one-time lump sum payment of $ 795,000.
Bratt bought his ticket at the Publix at 4601 9th Street North in Naples. This Publix location will receive a bonus commission of USD 2,000 for the sale of the winning ticket.
According to the Florida Lottery, scratch cards make up about 75 percent of ticket sales and raise more than $ 1.3 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
