Motorcyclist bumps into wild animal and dies on I-35 slip road in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Texas (KXII) – A Gainesville man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a wild animal.

The police say it happened shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday on the I-35 feeder road going south.

Ronnie Lovato, 59, hit what police believe was a deer on his white Harley-Davidson and ejected him and his 17-year-old passenger.

He died on the scene. She was flown to a Denton hospital and the extent of her injuries is unknown, police said.
